This itinerary takes in all the highlights of the beautiful Western & Eastern Capes. Starting in Cape Town, a thriving cosmopolitan city with plenty of cultural highlights as well as amazing sights like Table Mountain, Robben Island, Boulders Beach and the nearby most southerly point of the continent of Cape Agulhas.
Your next stop is the famous Winelands region, here a few days relaxing amongst this breath-taking scenery of rolling hills and vineyards is definitely in order before venturing along the 'Garden Route'
The 'Garden Route' is not just one single road, which in time has itself expanded from Cape Town to Port Elizabeth, but essentially is the route which takes you over mountain passes, along coast roads and through some of the most spectacular scenery in the whole country.
From the Winelands, head for the coastal town of Knysna, here you'll find a variety of destinations to explore; nature reserves, marine sanctuary, water activities on the lagoon as well as some relaxation. Next depart along the coast road heading through Plettenberg Bay and onto the beautiful Addo National Park, one of the best places to see large herds of elephants. Here a variety of self drive or guided safari viewing options are on offer including an interactive walk with the elephants.
Finally enjoy some well deserved R&R to reflect on all the amazing sights you will have seen and stay on the unspoilt beaches around Port Elizabeth for a few nights.
