Fully charged after a buffet breakfast the main event begins at the husky farm. Meet the dogs, pack the sleds and after some key pointers in the art of mushing, you are ready for the off! As you release the brakes the barking frenzy will cease and be replaced by the woosh of the sled as it glides through the snow, transporting you to the peace and solitude of the wilderness.
Your route traverses variable terrains allowing you time to enjoy the beautiful Lappish landscapes whilst honing your mushing skills. By lunch time you will be a pro and you are sure to start the afternoon with a more relaxed attitude as you continue towards the wilderness cabin, home for the evening. Working together to look after the dogs, the fire will be set and dinner prepared, this wilderness experience really evokes a true community spirit, as you enjoy good food, good company and a good nights sleep.
The trails will return you to base the following afternoon, and back at the hotel, a warm shower awaits. Take a sauna, swim in the pool and enjoy Finnish Flavours in the restaurant before a final night of luxury on the hill-top of Syote.
