Camp Ripan sits on the edge of Kiruna surrounded by nature and beautiful landscapes. During your time in Lapland you will head out in search of the northern lights and seek Arctic wildlife in the company of expert photographic guides. You will be provided with a high quality camera and lens for each photographic tour and will be taught the necessary skills required to find and photograph that perfect image.
As an added bonus we have also included a snowmobile tour to the ICEHOTEL where you will have plenty of opportunity to practice your new photographic skills independently.

Day 1:
Arrive Kiruna and transfer to Camp Ripan. After dinner this evening head out to some of the best places in Kiruna to witness the Aurora Borealis accompanied by a photographic guide. Your guide will teach you the basics of night time and northern lights photography with lots of helpful hints and techniques.

Day 2:
Your focus today will be on the wildlife that inhabits this Arctic region. Get re-acquainted with the camera at a feeding site for small birds before going in search of larger subjects. You will visit places with great opportunities to photograph moose, reindeer, ptarmigan and possibly Arctic fox. This afternoon you are in for yet another treat as you transfer to Abisko National Park where after a 3 course dinner you will head out in search of the northern lights and the perfect aurora image in the company of a professional photographer. Abisko is said to be one of the greatest places in the world to see the northern lights.

Day 3:
When in Kiruna a trip to the ICEHOTEL really is a must and today you will do just that travelling by snowmobile. On arrival you will have time to take a tour around this amazing structure before sitting down to a buffet lunch consisting of local specialities in the ICEHOTEL Restaurant. Once back at the hotel the afternoon is at leisure and there are plenty of other activities available or you may wish to relax in the Arctic Spa.

Day 4:
Your time in Lapland has come to end but you will return home with endless photographic memories to share with friends and family for years to come.
