For first time visitors to Zambia, combine South Luangwa and Lower Zambezi National Parks for amazing up close and personal game viewing. Stay at the five star owner-run camps offering the ultimate in bush comfort and menus so tempting you'll be requesting a few bush walks too! Famed for its leopard population, the South Luangwa will not fail to impress those in search of big game, exotic birds and unspoilt bush wilderness are a real bonus.

Then flying into the Lower Zambezi, you're immediately aware of the vast scale of the mighty Zambezi River forming a border between Zambia and Zimbabwe. Spend time exploring the park or simply relax in camp watching a matriarch elephant leading her family down for drinks in the river. There is time for a final sundowner before leaving with some great memories of this beautiful country.

In additon to this spectacular itinerary you could include a few days in the totally remote North Luangwa National Park too. Here you wont find any vehicles, just a few other humans and vast numbers of wildlife. Small owner run bush camps exist which are fully appreciated by true safari enthusiasts and nature lovers in general. Your holiday is rounded off with a few easy days relaxing and exploring Victoria Falls.
