Enjoy a leisurely lakeshore birding walk through the forest beside the shoreline of Lake Wakitipu, followed by an afternoon of wine tasting as you tour through some of Central Otago's best boutique wineries.

Departing from Queenstown at 8am see a vivid array of flora and fauna matched with stunning mountain views as you follow a trail along the shore of Lake Wakitipu, the air is alive with birdsong and many native species are often seen.

The afternoon begins with a delightful platter-style lunch at Carrick Winery after which you will head out for tastings at four wineries in the Gibbston Valley, Cromwell and Bannockburn regions.
