Highlights: Amboseli National Park - Laikipia - Masai Mara - tailored safari programmes for children, teenagers and parents

From the moment you arrive into Kenya your family will feel right at home. A first night in Nairobi is a chance to relax from your flight or take a trip to the nearby Giraffe Sanctuary or Daphne Sheldrick’s Elephant Orphanage. Then fly down for the next two days to Amboseli National Park, home to the huge herds of elephants roaming the plains as far as the eye can see. The local Masai Warriors will entertain the children with interactive bush walks and other safari activities. The remote northern Kenyan region of Laikipia is your next stop. A dramatically different landscape of towering gorges and the Ewaso Nyiro River. Bush craft and tracking skills for young inquisitive minds are taught, and a unique opportunity to view game by camel is on offer lead by the Samburu trackers.

Finally fly to the Masai Mara National Park, world famous for the great wildebeest migration crossing of the Mara River. The Masai guides will again be on hand for all your activities, learn to how to make fire from sticks, tell the difference between lion and leopard footprints and share the cultural traditions of the local Masai tribes. This is the perfect introduction to the wildlife and wilderness of Kenya where your little ones are in the safe hands of the Masai guides.
