Bearlog Hostel

Newly opened in 2017 the Bearlog Hostel is a smartly refurbished building in the heart of the southern town of Kocevje. The name of the lodge is clearly derived from the denizens of the forest that covers 90% of the region here.

There are a number of room sizes from an en suite double to a family room and a larger dorm. Meals can be provided from locally grown produce and are very tasty. There is also a small tourist information centre within the building for planning additional trips in the area. 

Overall the lodge is bright and fresh with very pleasant staff.
