Harmony is a lovely eco-hotel discreetly located a few barefoort steps behind the long, sandy Playa Guinones yet a few strides away from one of the small vibrant streets in Nosara. The road to it is unpaved for kilometres and when you arrive you will find verdant tropical gardens and rainforest.
The pace here is laid-back but the service centres on your well being, think organic food, juice bar, yoga, spa and aromatherapy. This is bound up in a surf culture as the immense beach here is one of Costa Rica's hotspots. It is not luxurious opulence but it is more than a comfortable place to unwind.
The rooms are spread along winding paths through the lush gardens. There is a central pool and open-air restaurant and bar. Surfing lessons are for the more active. An interesting choice of shops, local restaurants and bars are a short distance away.
