The chalets do not feature cooking facilities however the main lodge, with its wooden beam construction and huge feature fireplace, houses the lounge and dining room, where a delicious range of gourmet meals are served. Afterwards relax in the sports bar where a billiards table, games and satellite TV are available or retire to the deck and soak up the fresh mountain air and stunning views, keeping an out for the local wildlife.

In addition to the signature guided programmes offered there is plenty to keep you occupied at Tweedsmuir, from scenic walks in the old growth forests to mountain biking and swimming in the Atnarko River. Closer to home there are numerous lawn sports, an 18-hole frisbee golf course and a spa facility where massage, gym equipment and outdoor hot tub are available.

In the autumn, when the salmon arrive to spawn, Bella Coola is host to one of the highest concentrations of grizzly bears in North America. The Tweedsmuir Lodge Grizzly Bear Safari offers you the chance to observe these mighty creatures in their natural habitat.
