Nestled on the coast of Swedish Lapland, overlooking Bothnian Bay and the islands of the Luleå archipelago, Brändön Lodge boasts a unique location in a prisine wilderness environment. As winter falls, the sea freezes over, encapsulating the islands and you are invited to experience the locals unique way of Arctic life as their boats are replaced by snowmobiles.
The main lodge sits proundly at the heart of the resort surrounded by 15 individual cabins, each boasting simplistic Scandi comfort and privacy. The cabins, all just a short stroll from the main lodge, offer accommodation for up to 4 people in two bedrooms with a private bathroom. A lounge and small kitchenette provide ample space in which to relax and the covered front porch, which faces out to the frozen sea, is the ideal spot for a little star gazing or northern lights observation.
Over in the main lodge a cosy fireplace offers a warm welcome into the lounge area. Here you can relax with a drink from the bar or tea and coffee are also freely available for guests. On the upper floor, with fantastic views accross the frozen vistas, you will find the restaurant where an inspired Lappish dinner menu will tempt your palet and hearty buffet breakfasts will set you up for each days adventure.
Winter clothing is provided to all guests and Brändön Lodge offers a fantastic array of winter activities, starting right on your doorstep including a unique hovercraft adventure. After exploring the frozen landscapes, while away the early evening in the hot tub or sauna and as darkness falls you may keep warm by the fire in the Lavuu or shoreline hut where perfect views over the sea to the north may present some fantastic northern lights opportunities.
