We are a team of enthusiastic professionals designing tailor-made wildlife holidays and journeys for individuals, couples, families and private groups to some of the world's most inspiring destinations.
Director - Dr. Steve Banner FRGS
Dr. Steve Banner, a biologist, founded Wildlife & Wilderness. The company was formed over 10 years ago from a life-long background of enthusiasm for nature and wild places together with some reasonably serious independent adventure travel experiences having trekked and climbed in numerous countries. Today Steve remains an active member of Kinder Mountain Rescue Team.
Knowledge
In order to gain the critical knowledge needed to design such a vast range of bespoke itineraries we have a serious commitment to researching products and destinations in our expanding portfolio and our staff undertake a number of trips each year. Trip reports and newsletters are available throughout the year on the site.
Photography
You may notice that our website has some great images, we are particularly keen photographers and many of the images you see on the site, not only of wildlife and wild places but also of accommodation have been taken by ourselves. Please do ask us if you require any photographic advice, or of course if you too want to improve your photography then why not join one of our 'Exceptional Tours' with world renowned professional wildlife photographer Andy Rouse.

Furthermore we are committed to sustainable tourism. We work overseas with local companies, often family run and managed businesses and properties. In these countries your impact as individuals and small private groups or as part of a well managed small group tour keeps environmental and cultural impact to a minimum yet rewards local enterprises.
